BSA Specialist
The BSA Specialist will assist the BSA and OFAC Officer with performing duties related to compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Essential functions, duties, and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assists the BSA and OFAC Officer with monitoring compliance of the BSA and OFAC programs
- Reviews and acknowledges alerts within the BSA and anti-money laundering (AML) monitoring software
- Assists bank employees with BSA related questions
- Reviews customer activity and trend reporting
- Assists with research and reporting of suspicious activities
- Conducts OFAC and 314a monitoring
- Assists with other work in the department as needed
Education, experience, and qualifications:
Education:
Required/Preferred Education Level: Required High School or GED Preferred Associate Degree Degree in business administration or related field preferred
Years of
Experience:
Minimum Comments 3 A minimum of three (3) years of experience in related field preferred
Additional Qualifications:
Computer experience preferred; experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Verafin preferred

Working conditions:
Indoors, environmentally controlled. Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
