What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Data & Analytics to lead our data strategy and drive innovation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data science, analytics, and healthcare logistics, with a proven track record of driving data-driven decision-making and innovation.
What You’ll Do- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with company goals.
- Identify and prioritize data initiatives to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and data engineers.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Data
Infrastructure:- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data architectures, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Analytics & Insights:
- Develop and implement advanced analytics, machine learning models, and business intelligence solutions to uncover actionable insights.
- Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for product development, marketing strategies, and operational improvements.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, operations, and sales, to integrate data insights into product offerings and business processes.
- Partner with external vendors and data providers as needed.
- Customer Focus:
- Engage with key customers to understand their data needs and ensure our solutions meet their expectations.
- Advocate for the use of data to improve customer experience and outcomes.
- Innovation:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data and analytics.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to keep our products and services competitive.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of data initiatives.
- Regularly report on data performance to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (PhD is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in data and analytics roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
- Proven track record of building and scaling data teams and delivering impactful results.
- Experience in healthcare logistics, freight audit and pay, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and data engineering technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
- Demonstrated experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications; ability to design, develop, and implement ML models to solve complex business problems and improve decision‑making processes.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud‑based data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and Google Big Query.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, particularly in the healthcare industry (HIPAA).
