Senior Network Administrator

We are seeking an experienced system administrator to support and evolve a mission‑critical network for the U.S. Air Force and industry customers. The role involves managing Windows Group Policy and RBAC, maintaining VMware/Net App/TTC environments, applying security hardening, providing customer support, and leading network modernization initiatives.

• Ensure current infrastructure is functional and available, including routine updates and critical patching.
• Provide customers with visibility into their network through monitoring, performance management, and metrics analysis.
• Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission‑critical network.
• Turn network metrics into actionable information and communicate findings.
• Broaden skills into virtual networking, classified cloud integration, and voice technologies.
• Leverage leadership and mentoring to help the team tackle challenges and develop new methodologies.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to modernize the network to support client goals.

• 5+ years of experience supporting server administration.
• 3+ years of experience managing Windows Group Policy updates.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as Ivanti or Splunk.
• Experience providing customer support to end users via phone, email, or in person.
• Knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and issue‑resolution skills.
• TS/SCI security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Security+ certification.

• Experience using VMware vSphere or Horizon.
• Experience working in SAPF and SCIF environments.
• Experience with Everfox Trusted Thin Client (TTC).
• Experience applying DoD STIGs.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Linux server administration.
• Ability to create and update support documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber, or Information Systems.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.

Salary will be determined by factors such as location and experience. The projected annual range for this position is $77,500.00 to $. This posting will close within 90 days of the posting date.
