Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. Required to work home football games on Saturdays (typically 6‑7/year).

Provide leadership and support for the University Cablevision (CATV) service and contribute to special projects for the Operations and Infrastructure team. Serve as the primary technical lead for CATV projects, ensuring systems align with university standards and meet regulatory requirements. Oversee game‑day telecommunications operations at Sanford Stadium.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for all technical, engineering, and operational aspects of the University Cablevision service.
- Design, review, and approve CATV infrastructure projects, including contractor oversight and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with networking groups and stakeholders to align logical network design.
- Generate estimates, write technical specifications, evaluate bid responses, and supervise contractor work.
- Inspect installations, produce punch lists, address deficiencies, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and configure systems for game‑day events, particularly home football games and VIP venues.
- Assist wireless network team with programming, installation, and testing of wireless access points.
- Conduct annual audit of CATV usage within campus buildings and report metrics.
- Provide customer service and produce documentation for EITS knowledge base.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent with 2 years of professional experience (Minimum).
- Knowledge of cable television systems, low‑voltage cabling, telecommunications infrastructure, industry standards, and regulations.
- Skill in designing, reviewing, and approving technical infrastructure plans; developing specifications; and overseeing contractor work.
- Ability to lead and coordinate large‑scale CATV and infrastructure projects, collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
- Skill in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing real‑time support during high‑pressure events.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and develop user documentation.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Driving required.
