Leads Financial Services direction and strategic planning to achieve the system wide mission, directives, and goals. Develops OHMG financial management strategy and contributes to the development of practice wide strategic goals. Responsible for oversight and direction of the Owensboro Health Medical Group, managed care contracting, reimbursement, budget, financial statements, RVU management, revenue and regulatory analysis, statistical analysis, proformas and business plans.
As a Director at Owensboro Health, you provide operational and strategic oversight for designated departments or service areas. You champion our Safety Culture and foster continuous improvement, Target Zero performance, and promote a just culture. You translate organizational goals into actionable plans, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You are accountable for resource stewardship and regulatory compliance.
Responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the following Practice functions: managed care contracting and contract maintenance, reimbursement functions including prior authorization, denials, medical necessity, scheduling etc. and payment rule analysis. Collaborates with executive leadership to determine organizational priorities and goals. Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide consistent business processes, support the delivery of services, and ensures a culture of quality and satisfaction.
Integrates data from multiple sources to support physician related decision making. Researches and monitors industrial, professional, and national developments. Monitors and evaluates financial operations to ensure compliance with established professional, regulatory, and organizational standards and requirements. Assists with system's financial planning to ensure cost-efficient operations and to maximize profitability. Holds practices accountable to their budgets, staffing ratios and expenses.
