TTMA is seeking students to join our workforce through a part‑time Work Experience Program to support production operations in the automotive manufacturing industry. Students selected for the program may be assigned to Stamping, Conveyance, or Welding. The program allows students to work after school, during school holidays, and/or throughout summer break while supporting academic responsibilities with consistent work opportunities.

• Sets up and participates in the operation of a power press that automatically feeds blanks and continuous rolls of sheet metal into position.
• Sets specified dies in the press using hand tools.

• Performs tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials and products to Production Workers in Welding and Stamping lines.
• Reads production schedules and batch orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items using hands, an electric fork truck, tugger, or propane fork truck.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence with attention to kanban.

• Tends spot and arc welding equipment that joins fasteners and metal components together.
• Manually positions work pieces against stops or on pins to align in the machine.
• Places parts in and removes completed parts from the machine that automatically welds.
• Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and reports issues to the supervisor.
• Inspects joined components for defects and test‑fits in jig per work protocol.
• May use manually manipulated automatic welders to complete some processes.
• Moves part(s) from the machine and places them in process stages or onto a rack/tote.

All students participating in the Work Experience Program will be employees of Innovative Staffing Solutions.

5 days per week, 4 hours per day

In person

• Currently enrolled in high school, college, or university.
• 18 years of age or older.
