Job Description
Kelly, in partnership with a growing manufacturing client, is looking for a CNC Machinist in Solon, OH.
This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit, vacation, and compensation package upon hire.

- Hours:
8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday - Pay: $30 + (potentially higher based on candidate requirements and experience)

Job Description:
- Develop an environment of continual improvement through the use of Lean tools
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T callouts, and process sheets
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work offsets
- Edit CNC programs at the machine as needed
- Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
- Maintain production efficiency while ensuring part quality
- Train and mentor entry-level machinists and operators
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain clean work areas
REQUIRED SKILLS (Applicant must meet all to be considered):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical degree or apprenticeship preferred
- 3 or more years of CNC machining experience
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment
- Ability to independently perform machine setups and adjustments
- Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining processes
- Experience editing G-code and M-code programs
