Green River Asset Building Coalition(GRABC) is a community-based nonprofit that has provided free, IRS-certified tax preparation to low- and moderate-income households, disabled individuals and seniors across the region for more than 20 years. Each year, thousands of families rely on our program to access critical tax credits and refunds that help address immediate financial needs and reduce economic barriers.

OverviewGreen River Asset Building Coalition(GRABC) is hiring a part-time Program Coordinator to support our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program during the tax filing season, with potential for limited post-season support based on program needs.
This role supports client engagement, program coordination, and measurable outcome tracking aligned with GRABC’s poverty reduction goals during our busiest service period.
Key Responsibilities- Support client intake and engagement during tax preparation services
- Coordinate structured survey and case-support processes designed to identify financial and other impactful household barriers
- Support the collection, organization, and analysis of program data used to measure poverty reduction and barrier mitigation outcomes
Enter, maintain, and safeguard accurate demographic and program data - Assist with follow-up communication as directed
- Work collaboratively with volunteers to ensure smooth daily program operations
- Maintain strict confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
- Relevant work experience in customer service, nonprofit, data entry, or community services
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform light lifting (up to 20 lbs)
- Must be able to work approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Flexibility required based on GRABC’s public-facing service hours during peak tax season, including daytime availability, some evenings, and Saturdays
