Job Description
We are seeking a Palliative Care
Nurse Practitioner to join Bloomington Medical Services in Wooster, Ohio. This is a Full Time position Monday
-Friday.
- Active NP license in the State of Ohio
- Palliative experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships
- Computer skills to utilize Electronic Health Record
- Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research
- Writes prescriptions for medication, blood products based upon laboratory results, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, as appropriate.
- Interprets and evaluates findings of studies/tests.
- Recognizes deviations from normal in physical assessments and testing.
- Documents care provided.
- Provides on-call phone coverage (not onsite)
- Must be able to work independently and collaborate with physicians and other specialties
