Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department Where You Will Work:Atrium Health Cleveland Emergency Department provides 24-hour emergency medical services to Cleveland County and the surrounding communities, delivering high-quality care for patients of all ages. From treating minor injuries such as fractures and lacerations to managing life‑threatening conditions like heart attacks and strokes, the department is equipped to handle a full spectrum of emergency needs. The 36‑bed emergency department is a Level III trauma center, offering around‑the‑clock physician coverage by board‑certified emergency medicine providers, as well as resources for resuscitation, surgery, and intensive care for trauma patients.
As a designated Chest Pain Center, the team demonstrates a strong commitment to quality care and adherence to rigorous clinical standards. In addition, on‑call medical specialists are available for consultation, ensuring patients have access to comprehensive, coordinated care when needed.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
