Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care (Day Shifts

Pay: $1,440.13 / week

We are seeking an experienced Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) opportunity in Buffalo Center, IA. In this role, you will provide person-centered care, administer daily treatments, and manage chronic conditions for residents in a collaborative skilled nursing environment. • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and track resident responses in the EHR.
• Perform routine wound care, dressing changes, and treatments per care plans.
• Assess changes in resident conditions and communicate promptly with physicians, RNs, and family members.
• Collaborate with CNAs and therapists to assist with daily living activities and rehabilitation programs.
• Maintain strict safety protocols and precise clinical documentation.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensure: Active Iowa LPN license or a valid compact/multistate LPN license.
• Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Background in specialized wound care or palliative care principles.
