snt-tc-1a level ii ndt certifications and documented hours required in the following methods: visual testing, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant. Recommended to have knowledge in surface casting defects and radiographic film interpretations. Inspections performed will be in accordance with navsea techpub t9074-as-gib-010/271 with mil-std-2035a acceptance criteria.

• will apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• organize and report test results
• perform specialized inspections
• perform other job-related tasks as assigned

must be a us citizen with no dual citizenship.

must pass a background check and drug test.

• high school diploma or equivalent
• snt-tc-ia level ii visual testing, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant
• shop math and print reading skills required
• ability to distinguish color to meet specific inspection criteria
• ability to use basic computer functions for data entry, i.e., word, excel, outlook
• ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
• excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• ability to work independently as well as part of a team with positive attitude
• potentially travel for work for additional training as needed
• work overtime as requested
• must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
• must be dependable
• mechanical aptitude is a plus
• must have exceptional attention to detail

• ability to perform visual and liquid penetrant inspections on castings
• review and interpret radiographic film
