Job Description

Property Worx LLC is looking for a full-time Landscape Business Sales Developer in the Central Ohio area. This person will develop new business opportunities, develop client relationships and expand Property Worx existing accounts.

This role will focus on proactive sales, proposal development, and closing landscape maintenance, installation of structures inside and out of properties and enhancement services for commercial and residential clients. Collaborating with Property Worx production teams and design to develop quotes to increase profits.

Job responsibilities
  • Preferred:
    Valid drivers’ license and cleared to drive under company insurance.
  • Eager individual with a desire to grow the Property Worx property solutions mind-set to help boost profits on a quarterly basis.
  • Generating leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach and site visits.
  • Upselling additional services such as enhancements, seasonal work, and upgrades.
  • Ability to work with larger business general contracting firms on processes to help secure prompt payment for larger projects.
  • Regular travel to jobsites is required to meet with potential clients to discuss project goals, budget, and scope. Establishing relationships with customer leads in refining initial needs assessment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and patience working with customers. Securing deposit and final payment from customer may be required.
  • Ability to estimate a design and calculate quantity of materials needed.
  • General knowledge of landscape plant materials commonly used in the Central Ohio region.
  • General knowledge of construction materials and methods of assembly.
  • General knowledge of grading and drainage design preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial mowing, bed maintenance, pruning, leaf removal, planting and landscape install methods.
  • Knowledge of commercial snow removal estimating and procedures.
  • Review and validate design proposal and/or estimate with the customer’s needs.
  • Prepare proposals for landscape, hardscape, and other kinds of installations based on landscape design plans.
  • Coordinate project installation with production managers to ensure final product exceeds customers’ expectations.
  • Ability to sit, stand, climb, walk 8 hours or more per day navigating diverse terrains and working in all seasons and climate conditions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Business, Construction Management or similar field. Associates in Landscape Design or Horticulture Technology may be acceptable.
  • 1-3 years of industry sales and office experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with LMN preferred.

Job type and schedule
:
Full-time / Monday thru Friday with weekends and holidays during peak season. Ability to work after normal business hours meeting potential clients is a must.

Compensation
:
Based on prior job skills.
