Security Officer, Part-Time

Shift: Friday - Sunday | 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Part-TIme Unarmed Roving Security Officer to support multiple client sites in and around Owensboro. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, comfortable working independently, and enjoys a role that involves movement rather than staying at a single post.

Roving security officers assist with patrol coverage, site checks, and response to calls as needed during their scheduled shifts. Each location has specific post orders, so attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

• Drive between assigned client properties following set routes or supervisor direction
• Conduct routine patrol checks at multiple locations during the shift
• Walk exterior areas and parking lots to identify safety or security concerns
• Check doors, gates, and access points to ensure they are secured
• Respond to alarms, service calls, or after-hours issues as assigned
• Provide backup assistance to on-site officers when requested
• Observe and report hazards, property damage, or suspicious activity
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports before the end of each shift

This role involves regular driving, walking patrols, and short stops at multiple sites depending on daily operational needs.

• Reliable availability for part-time second-shift weekend work
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfort following site-specific instructions across different locations
• Prior security or patrol experience is helpful but not required
