General Labor (Part-time)

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well known reputable company in Owensboro, KY. We are accepting resumes for a Part-time General Laborer/Installation Helper who is a team player, versatile and dependable! Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug screen.

Job Duties:

• Assist lead technicians with residential and commercial security system installations.
• Run, secure, and conceal low-voltage cable for cameras, alarms, access control, and networking equipment.
• Assist with pulling wire through walls, ceilings, attics, crawl spaces, and conduits.
• Assemble equipment racks, cabinets, and brackets.
• Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and disposal of packaging materials.
• Help load and unload company vehicles with tools, ladders, and installation materials.
• Support technicians during system testing, programming, and commissioning.
• Take measurements and mark installation locations according to project plans.
• Perform basic drywall patching, drilling, and minor construction work related to installations.
• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements and company safety procedures.
• Travel to multiple project locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous construction, electrical, security installation.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, rooftops, attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites as required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required.
• Knowledge of security cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, or network cabling is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
