Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Cloud Engineer - Software, DevOps
We are seeking a Software Engineer III to support the design, development, integration, and deployment of advanced software solutions for mission‑critical government programs. This role requires strong technical expertise in software engineering, computer science and information technology, along with the ability to work independently on complex assignments and provide technical guidance to junior team members. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that address unique government requirements while collaborating with technical teams, program leadership and government stakeholders.
This position may serve as a technical lead for specific efforts and requires strong communication and documentation skills.
- Design, develop, test and maintain software applications supporting government mission objectives.
- Analyze requirements and develop technical solutions to address complex operational challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior software engineers.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to define and implement software capabilities.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports and engineering artifacts.
- Support Agile software development processes, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure software solutions meet security, performance, scalability and reliability.

Required Qualifications- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred. Candidates with an active Public Trust clearance or higher may be considered if eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or information technology with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or an approved comparable combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience designing, developing, testing and deploying software applications in a collaborative development environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create technical documentation and reports.
- Experience designing, developing and deploying cloud‑native applications.
- Experience implementing and supporting event‑driven architectures
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices and cybersecurity principles.
- Practical experience working in Agile environments utilizing the Scrum framework.
- Experience designing and implementing modern user interfaces and user experiences.
- Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) certification.
- Scrum‑related developer certifications and demonstrated Agile development experience.
- Kubernetes certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes and related technologies.
