Weekend Shift Warehouse Associate

Overview

Shift: Friday – Saturday 7:00 am-7:30 pm (or task complete). Sunday 6:30 am-7:00 pm (or task complete). This role supports Cardinal Health’s warehouse operations by performing manual or automated tasks related to receipt, storage, and shipment of products. The successful candidate will receive and fulfill orders, ensuring customers receive the products they need to care for patients.

• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross‑train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to operate material‑handling equipment as required (e.g., order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walk‑by‑rider).

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights of 20‑30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technologies such as computers or point‑of‑sale systems is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including reading and writing.
