Parts Counterperson

• Greet customers and technicians promptly and professionally.
• Identify and locate the correct parts using electronic catalog systems.
• Provide accurate pricing and availability information.
• Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
• Receive, inspect, and shelve incoming parts shipments.
• Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs.
• Ensure the parts counter and storage areas are clean and organized.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits.
• Stay up to date with parts programs, promotions, and recalls.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.

• Prior experience in automotive parts sales, preferably at a GM dealership.
• Familiarity with GM parts catalog systems (e.g., Global Connect, EPC).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to multitask and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, inventory software).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or automotive training is a plus.
