- Teach up to 9 credit hours per semester.
- Revise, review, or develop curriculum as assigned.
- Attend all mandated professional development and training sessions.
- Collect and submit student learning assessment data.
- Participate actively in campus and system‑wide committees, meetings, projects, and other related activities.
- Preferred: Doctoral degree in physiology or a terminal degree in an acceptable subfield such as pathology, kinesiology/exercise science, medicine, or biology.
- Required: One of the following:
- Master's degree in physiology or an acceptable subfield.
- Master's degree in another area with at least 18 semester hours of graduate coursework in a related field and documentation of an anatomy and physiology course that includes a lab component.
- Master's degree or higher in a healthcare profession with documentation of an anatomy and physiology course that includes a lab component.
