Responsibilities- Teach courses in the Auto/Diesel Institute, delivering dynamic, hands‑on instruction aligned with the ASE Education Foundation standards.
- Prepare students to earn industry‑recognized credentials and achieve their Certificate or Associate degree in Automotive Technologies.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and instructional materials.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback and support to students.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of current automotive repair technologies and diagnostic procedures.
- Engage students, managers, customers, and the public through effective presentation skills.
- Ase certification in Automotive Service Technology or Diesel Service Technology.
- Associate degree in a related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- At least five years of related work experience in automotive repair technologies, or two years of related experience combined with an associate degree in a related area.
- Proficiency in current automotive repair technologies, diagnostic and repair procedures, and experience with various OEM diagnostic software programs.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Effective presentation skills and the ability to analyze and resolve problems involving multiple concrete variables within standardized situations.
- Belief in and support of the student‑first philosophy, acting as a positive role model and brand ambassador on and off campus.
