• Weekend Requirements:
  Every third weekend/Holidays required if needed/scheduled
• On Call Requirements:
  No scheduled on-call--if employee requested voluntary time off due to low census, they would be required to be on-call
• Traveler Policy:
  Client will not consider candidates who live within 50 miles of facility

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified  REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD/DURING INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

• Conduct a comprehensive nutrition assessment for patients identified at nutritional risk, or as deemed necessary per policy, or by consult.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice when implementing nutrition interventions.
• Evaluate need for specialized nutrition support and make appropriate recommendations accordingly.
• Appropriately document nutrition assessment in the electronic medical record.
• Reassess the nutrition care process and implement changes as indicated.
• Responsible for developing and directing the overall nutrition and hydration plan of care for each resident.
• Recognize the varied needs of age-specific populations, as well as cultural, religious, and ethnic concerns.
• Evaluate residents for significant weight changes, new admissions, new or continuing wounds, attend standards of care, care conferences, meal rounding, menu evaluation, and prepare LTC unit for survey readiness.
• Participate in quality improvement projects as needed.
• This is a full-time position for a registered dietitian to work in a long-term care and inpatient setting. Approximately 40% of time worked will be LTC, 50% of time worked will be inpatient, and 10% on project improvement/other tasks.

• Must have 2+ years of OB/GYN experience
• Must have high proficiency in LDRP, including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, Postpartum Couplet Care experience
• Current and active STABLE certification preferred
• Must have current and active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Must have current and active NRP certification
• Must have active AWHONN certification
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills , professionalism, and reliability
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
