HR & Recruiting Coordinator

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week | Occasional travel between locations (approx. 5%)

What You’ll Impact Improve Efficiency Across People Operations

You’ll be the operational backbone of our HR function, supporting the VP of HR with recruiting, payroll administration, onboarding, offboarding, reporting, scheduling, and more. By reducing bottlenecks and keeping processes moving smoothly, you’ll allow leadership to focus on strategic initiatives that drive our organization forward.

Strengthen Compliance & Reduce Risk

From OSHA coordination to FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and short-term disability documentation, you’ll serve as a key compliance partner. Your attention to detail and understanding of employment laws will help protect both our employees and our company.

Elevate the Employee Experience

You’ll manage candidate communications, conduct prescreens, coordinate interviews, process new hire documentation (I-9s, W-2s), facilitate orientations, manage terminations and exit interviews, and maintain accurate HR systems. Your work ensures every employee interaction is smooth, professional, and consistent.

What You’ll Do Payroll Administration Support
  • Prepare, review, and occasionally process payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Ensure documentation, approvals, and system updates are complete
  • Post and monitor job ads
  • Schedule and/or participate in interviews
  • Communicate offers and denials
  • Coordinate orientations and complete hiring paperwork
  • Enter new hires into HR systems
Onboarding, Offboarding & HR Systems Management
  • Process onboarding and termination documentation
  • Complete system updates and deactivations
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records
HR Administration & Reporting
  • Run reports and maintain trackers
  • File documentation and update spreadsheets
  • Schedule meetings and reminders
  • Collect job descriptions, reviews, disciplinary documents, and other records
Compliance, Safety & Benefits Support
  • Support OSHA and Safety Team coordination
  • Assist with FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, STD/LTD
  • Monitor documentation and elevate concerns appropriately
What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiables)
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, and compliance
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2–5 years of HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of EEOC and federal/state recruiting and recordkeeping requirements
  • OSHA familiarity or experience
  • Professional, timely, and accurate communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and time management
  • Reliability, punctuality, and process consistency
Bonus Points If You Have
  • HR or Recruiting Coordinator experience
  • OSHA certifications
  • SHRM certification
  • Paycor experience
  • Experience with benefit applications (health, vision, dental, FMLA, STD/LTD, ADA)

    Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week
  • Occasional travel between locations (~5%)
