Downstream Technician – Owosso, MI

Location:

Owosso, MI

Pay: $18.00 per hour + shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Shift information:
Some weekend work required. 2nd shift schedule is 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM. 3rd shift schedule is 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM.

Note:

The client is seeking an experienced machine operator who works well in a team and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Glide drainage pipe into coiler and ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods.
• Track the quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency.
• Utilize standard operating procedures to package products for delivery to customers.
• Maintain a safe working environment, consistently using Personal Protective Equipment to ensure safety.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns, and downstream equipment set-up.
• Practice continuous improvement, including line operations and facility housekeeping.
• All other duties as assigned.

• A+ Attendance
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous solid industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic Math skills
• Ability to do some physical labor
