Responsible for assembling, rigging, wiring, and completing luxury boat models in accordance with company quality standards, production schedules, and customer specifications.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assemble luxury boat components and subassemblies according to work instructions, specifications, and production requirements.
  • Gather and prepare required parts, tools, and materials for each build.
  • Measure, position, and install components using assembly drawings, templates, and tape measurements.
  • Verify fit, finish, and functionality of completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Install and hard-wire electrical components, including lights, speakers, LED lighting, radios, and batteries.
  • Install, program, and configure digital motor controls and related systems as required.
  • Rig and install motors according to job specifications, including battery, steering, and shift cable installation where applicable.
  • Perform adjustments and modifications necessary to meet design and customer specifications.
  • Operate hoists, lifts, and other equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assist with shrink-wrap preparation and packaging using approved equipment and procedures.
  • Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation as required.
  • Conduct self-inspections to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
  • Basic electrical wiring and component installation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of boat rigging or assembly processes.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Basic math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, and work in various positions throughout a 10-hour shift.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work on concrete surfaces, inside boats, and at elevated heights when required.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing/shop environment and safely operate tools and equipment.
