Overview
Registered Nurse - OB/GYN travel assignment in Owosso, MI. Starting 08/24/2026 for 14 contract weeks, with a 36-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). - Deliver direct OB/GYN patient care across Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDRP) including triage, labor support, delivery, and postpartum care
- Serve as circulating nurse during procedures and collaborate with the obstetric team; assist with C-sections and newborn care; monitor fetal status and maternal vitals
- Provide postpartum couplet care, educate families, and support safe discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure infection control, and uphold unit policies; participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Respond to obstetric emergencies, participate in on-call activities as scheduled, and coordinate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Active Michigan RN license (LARA/Nursys)
- Certifications:
AWHONN, NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) active - Experience:
2+ years OB/GYN clinical experience - Proficiency:
High skill level in LDRP operations including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, Postpartum Couplet Care - Vaccination:
Covid-19 vaccine required (exemptions allowed per policy) - Additional:
Must have own vehicle; perm address must be listed in profile; RTO requests must be included in profile and not submitted after offer - Credentials:
Must pass a dysrhythmia (dysrhythmia) test prior to floor placement
