Position Summary
Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician position to join Walmart's local and regional team. Responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using a range of craft skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
- Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
- Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
- 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
- Vocational or Technical certification plus 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years’ experience in one of these trades.
- 1 year’s experience using intermediate‑level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and move up and down ladders and work at heights frequently.
- Valid driver’s license and eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Experience beyond the minimum for mechanical or electrical trades.

Hourly wage range: $21.00 – $40.00 per hour. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Compensation package details will be disclosed during the interview process.
