Overview
Davis Cartage Co. is hiring a CDL Class B Local Driver for a day shift position. This opportunity is Monday through Friday, day shift, driving from our corporate office in Corunna, MI, and returning daily. Responsibilities include driving a 26' box truck with air brakes using a lift gate, pallet jack or dock to make pick up and deliveries throughout Michigan.
This position is full-time, with great benefits, no required weekend work and home every night. Straight Truck Drivers earn an average salary of $50k annually. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, as well as monthly safety bonuses and more.
- Drive a 26' box truck with air brakes using a lift gate, pallet jack or dock to make pickups and deliveries throughout Michigan.
- Operate from the corporate office in Corunna, MI, on a Monday–Friday day shift and return home each night.
- Current CDL Class B or Class A license with air brake endorsement.
- Two years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean MVR and ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Electronic logs, pallet jack and liftgate experience is a plus.
