Position: Pump-Over Wash Technician

Job Title: Pump-Over Wash Technician

Location: St. John's, MI

Job Type: Full-time / On-the-job Training Available

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Training pay: $15/hour for two weeks
  • Starting pay after training: $16/hour
  • After 60 days: IRA, full health insurance (including vision), dental and short-term disability options, paid time off, earned sick time, and family medical leave
  • Yearly reviews with potential for pay raises
  • Time and a half pay for major holidays
  • No layoffs
Alma Location Responsibilities:
  • Milk Transfer:
    Transfer milk from route trucks and trailers to delivery trucks and tubes.
  • Wash System Setup:
    Set up and document the interior wash systems for trucks and tubes.
  • Physical Demands:
    High physical demand, including climbing ladders of trailers, reaching above/below self, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Truck Staging:
    Stage trucks and trailers around the lot.
  • Semi-Driving Parking:
    On-the-job training for semi-driving and trailer parking, qualifying for full-time solo shifts.
  • Technology Use:
    Basic knowledge of computers for tracking and documentation.
St. John's Location Responsibilities:

    High physical demand, including climbing ladders of trailers, climbing the facility catwalk, reaching above/below self, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Semi-Driving Parking:
    On-the-job training for semi-driving and trailer parking, qualifying for full-time solo shifts.
  • Technology Use:
    Basic knowledge of computers for tracking and documentation.

  • Weekend Work:
    Every Other Weekend
  • Cleanliness Attention to Detail:
    All work is food-grade, requiring a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Physical Fitness:
    Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders/catwalks.
  • Technology

    Skills:

    Basic computer skills to complete documentation and track activities.
  • Flexibility Adaptability:
    Must work well under pressure, adapt quickly to changes, and manage time effectively.

Work Schedule:
  • St. John's

    Location:

    Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and every other weekend from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
