Semi-Local Truck Driver – (Lansing, MI)

Pay:

• Average $84,000–$90,000 per year
• 2,500–2,700 miles per week $10,000 sign up bonus

Mileage Pay:

• Regional runs (75% of loads, 200+ miles):
  • Starts at $0.63 per mile
  • Raises to $0.645 after 1 year
  • Raises to $0.66 after 3 years
  • $20 per stop
• Local runs (25% of loads, under 200 miles):
  • Starts at $0.725 per mile
  • Raises to $0.735 after 1 year
  • Raises to $0.745 after 3 years
  • $30 per stop

Extra Pay:

• $100 per week attendance pay
• $30 for backhaul pickups
• $25/hour for breakdowns (after 2 hours, up to $300/day)
• $20/hour safety pay
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days (company pays for it)

Where You'll Drive:

• Illinois (no downtown Chicago)
• Indiana
• Michigan (including Upper Peninsula)
• Ohio
• Wisconsin
• Mostly Chicago suburb routes
• Deliver to stores and shuttle between Lansing, MI & Pleasant Prairie, WI

Schedule:

• Sunday–Thursday (Friday & Saturday off) and other shifts available
• Start at 6:00 AM
• Out 2–3 nights per week
• 7 PTO days first year, 10 PTO days after 1 year
• May work some holidays

Job Details:

• No touch freight
• Mostly drop & hook (85%)
• Average 4 stops per load
• Single bunk sleeper trucks
• Trucks stay at the account during home time
• Slip seating only during truck service

Requirements:

• At least 3 months trucking experience
• Must get Hazmat within 90 days
