Job Description Summary

Oxford Forge, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our 2nd or 3rd shift team, as a Manufacturing Technician in Training. This entry‑level position offers comprehensive hands‑on training to develop essential skills in manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control, preparing you for a successful career in our dynamic production environment.

Manufacturing Technician in Training

• Learn and perform various manufacturing tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors.
• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently after appropriate training.
• Assist with the setup, adjustment, and minor troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect products for quality defects and ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Document production data, including quantities, times, and quality checks.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall plant cleanliness.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues.

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new technical skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Basic math and computer skills are preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Working in hot conditions.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including occasional evenings or weekends, as required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus but not required.
