Role Description The Warehouse Support Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Oxford, MI. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, and storing inventory; picking and packing orders; and preparing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers. Daily tasks include loading and unloading trucks, labeling and stacking products, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, and assisting with cycle counts or inventory audits.
The associate will operate basic warehouse equipment (such as pallet jacks and carts), follow established procedures, and coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and quality goals. This position may also support other warehouse activities as needed, including staging orders and helping improve workflow and organization.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform warehouse operations tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory support.
- Basic equipment handling skills, such as safely using pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling tools (forklift experience or certification is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail for order accuracy, product labeling, and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Reliable time management and teamwork skills to meet daily deadlines and collaborate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting and moving boxes, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Commitment to safety practices and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior warehouse or distribution experience in a retail or pet products environment is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn company systems and processes and to take on additional responsibilities as the role and business needs evolve.
