The HGV Mechanic position is ideal for those with technical expertise in heavy vehicle systems. You will perform maintenance and repairs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Your role will be crucial in keeping a fleet of vehicles operational and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs
• Complete DVSA inspections and preventative maintenance
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Replace and repair vehicle components as necessary
• Ensure vehicles meet all MOT standards before certification
Requirements:
• Experience as an HGV Mechanic or Technician
• Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Proficient in mechanical and electrical systems
• Full UK driving licence required
• Organised, reliable, and focused on safety
