Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $ Annually
Sovereign Consulting Inc., a rapidly growing environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking a full-time highly motivated and experienced LEP or senior-level environmental professional to lead environmental site assessments, remediation projects, and regulatory coordination efforts. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work directly with clients and regulators.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct and oversee Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Prepare and review budgets, technical reports and regulatory submittals
- Manage site remediation projects from investigation through closure
- Interface with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff
- Support business development and client management efforts
- Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations including RBCRs and UST regulations
- Proven project management and communication skills
- Strong communication, leadership and client management skills
- Knowledge of the RBCRs and UST regulations
- Provide senior level leadership skills in site investigations, remediation and permitting
- Report, proposal and budget preparation
- Oversight and management of subcontractors
- Interaction with regulatory agencies
Employment at Sovereign is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test and a pre-placement medical evaluation that determines candidate’s ability to capably and safely perform the proposed job duties. Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
