• Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers.
• Cuts all meat in accordance with trim specifications and guidelines; ensures quality and freshness of meat products cut for display in the meat case to promote sales.
• Provides excellent customer service and courtesy on an ongoing basis.
• Adheres to all corporate and state sanitation and safety procedures.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Cuts and prepares meat using knives, saws, cubers and grinders; ensures proper wrapping, weighing and labeling of meat merchandise.
• Adheres to all corporate meat department procedures and standards (case layout and trim specifications) and to proper sanitation and temperature guidelines (including corporate and state inspection standards).
• Receives all meat products delivered at the store location (DSD and warehouse deliveries).
• Controls shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management and adheres to all company policies and procedures.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a cutting test.
• Satisfactory Performance Reviews.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic literacy skills.
• Basic computer skills.
