Long Term Substitute - Social Worker/Psychologist/School Counselor
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and facilitation of 504 meetings
- Able to consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, support staff, parents, and outside providers in promoting student success
- Able to write IEP goals and objectives and implement counseling services
- Develop and implement counseling for groups and individuals
- Participate as a member of the SRBI team and provide consultative services for staff and families
- Participate as member of school crisis intervention team
- Previous experience in the public school setting preferred
- Other duties as determined by the principal
Qualifications:
- Must have certification as Social Worker, Psychologist, or School Counselor (071, 070, 068)
- Experience at the high school level, preferred.
- Strong, effective communication, organizational, and assessment skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment. Proactive team player.
- Dedication to providing a positive and meaningful learning experience for students.
