* Product/component level assembly

* Optical alignment

* Testing of optical and laser components

* Wide range of assembly processes of precision opto-mechanical components including: soldering, adhesive bonding, UV Curing and mechanical assembly

* Cleaning and inspecting optics

* Cleaning and inspecting mechanical parts

* Optical, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

* Repair

* General cleaning and upkeep of work area to uphold cleanroom environment

* Follow company laser safety practices

* AS in Opto-Mechanical, Optics or Electronics preferred, or equivalent experience required

* Must have 3 - 5 years of relevant experience

* Knowledge of multimeters, oscilloscopes, optical spectrum analyzers and laser beam profiling equipment preferred

* Ability to work in required cleanroom dress, i.e., gloves, bonnets, frocks, shoe covers, etc.

* Must have good hand-eye coordination and dexterity

* Proficient soldering skills

* Ability to work with small parts under a microscope for extended periods for time

* Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics

* Must be organized, energetic, reliable, timely and detail oriented

* Strong communication skills

* Data entry skills
