Responsibilities- Communicates with suppliers and vendors to address quality issues, logistics bottlenecks, and recommendations on improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers on deliverable specifics, including handling, special requirements, hazards, and instructions on use.
- Collaborates and coordinates with internal departments to develop new methods of evaluation and inspection on supplier deliverables.
- Documents and processes supplier metrics to utilize data in future analyses of evaluation methods.
- Documents all work and maintains a daily log.
- Minimum of three years' supplier purchasing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry, production software).
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills required for interaction within the group, other departments and customers.
- Results-oriented, with ability to multitask.
- Aptitude to learn new systems and technologies.
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor.
- Attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated and proactive.
- English speaking with ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, bending, reaching, and walking for extended periods.
- Visual ability correctable to 20/20 for performing visual inspections.
