Quality Assurance Specialist — TEMP (Critical Hire)
Location:
Oxford, MA
Hours:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Duration:
Approximately 6 months (critical hire — immediate availability preferred)
Pay Range: $22.54 – $29.87 / hour
We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Specialist for a short‑term, high‑priority assignment at our Oxford facility. This role supports day‑to‑day quality activities to ensure products and processes meet client standards and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do- Inspect and test components, assemblies, and finished products for conformance to specs
- Record inspection results and quality documentation; report nonconformances
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support incoming/outgoing inspection, in‑process checks, and final verifications
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supervision to resolve quality issues
- Maintain calibration and inspection equipment records; follow safety procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year experience in QA/QC or manufacturing inspection preferred
- Ability to read basic drawings, work instructions, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail, good observation skills, and reliable attendance
- Basic computer skills (MS Office/electronic record keeping)
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Associate degree or technical training
- Experience with ISO/GMP or regulated environments
- Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Experience in electro‑mechanical or assembly environments
