Quality Assurance Specialist — TEMP (Critical Hire)

Location:

Oxford, MA

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Duration:
Approximately 6 months (critical hire — immediate availability preferred)

Pay Range: $22.54 – $29.87 / hour

We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Specialist for a short‑term, high‑priority assignment at our Oxford facility. This role supports day‑to‑day quality activities to ensure products and processes meet client standards and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Inspect and test components, assemblies, and finished products for conformance to specs
  • Record inspection results and quality documentation; report nonconformances
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Support incoming/outgoing inspection, in‑process checks, and final verifications
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supervision to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain calibration and inspection equipment records; follow safety procedures
Who We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year experience in QA/QC or manufacturing inspection preferred
  • Ability to read basic drawings, work instructions, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail, good observation skills, and reliable attendance
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office/electronic record keeping)
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
Preferred
  • Associate degree or technical training
  • Experience with ISO/GMP or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Experience in electro‑mechanical or assembly environments
