The Town of Oxford is seeking a Mechanic I to maintain and repair the town’s fleet in the Fleet Maintenance Division. You will perform skilled mechanical and electrical work on diverse vehicles and equipment, following manufacturer specifications and town policies.
Under supervision, you will conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with scheduling, parts tracking, and record keeping. This role requires readiness for field repairs and occasional on-call duties.
