Overview
Medical Student Performance Evaluation Assistant (MSPE) – St. George’s University invites applicants for the position of Medical Student Performance Evaluations Assistant (MSPE) within the Office of Dean, School of Medicine.

Job DescriptionThe MSPE Assistant plays a critical role in providing administrative support to the entire MSPE team on behalf of both current students and graduates. This individual enters digital hospital evaluations into MSPEs, prepares and processes MSPEs and transcript requests, logs and uploads MSPEs and transcripts to matching services and individual hospital programs, sends SGU Department Chair Letters, corresponds with students and graduates, works on special projects for the MSPE Supervisor, and generally contributes to the efficiency of team operations.
CoreResponsibilities
- Provide administrative support to entire MSPE Team.
- Provide direct support to MSPE Supervisor on delegated tasks and special assignments.
- Enter and file thousands of student evaluations from hospitals into the MSPEs for 2-3 graduation years’ worth of current students.
- Prepare, document, and upload thousands of MSPEs and transcripts for both current students and graduates to matching services.
- Prepare, document, and process hundreds of MSPE/transcript requests for students and graduates to individual hospital programs.
- Prepare, document, and send hundreds of SGU Department Chair Letters to students.
- Communicate via email and phone with students, graduates, and USS staff.
- Investigate hospital evaluation discrepancies with Clinical Department and Office of Registrar.
- Work with the MSPE Team to refine and enhance the overall process.

- Experience with high volume correspondence / customer service environment preferred.
- Good writing skills helpful.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; the position is an office position operating in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners and filing cabinets.
Hours and Travel- A typical work week is 40 hours Monday to Friday with flexible start, lunch break and end day.
- Weekend work will be as is required.
- No travel is expected in this role.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a client facing or customer service role.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Project Management experience is preferred but not required.
- Intermediate level in MS Excel is preferred but not required.
- Desired, but not mandatory: MS Visio, Banner, Webinar tools.
