Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant GI Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have MBBS, MS, DNB, or MCh qualifications with 2–3 years of relevant experience in gastrointestinal surgery. The role involves managing complex GI cases, performing elective and emergency surgeries, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a wide range of gastrointestinal surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and open surgeries.
Provide preoperative and postoperative patient management.
Work closely with gastroenterologists, oncologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.
Participate in departmental academic activities, case discussions, and quality improvement programs.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Mentor junior doctors and surgical residents.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: MBBS, MS (General Surgery), DNB or MCh (Surgical Gastroenterology).
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in gastrointestinal surgery post‑specialization.
Proficiency in laparoscopic and open GI surgeries.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
