We are seeking an experienced and reliable Locum General Practitioner to provide 5 sessions per week at a well-established, patient-focused GP Surgery in Oxford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking for consistent weekly sessions within a supportive multidisciplinary team and well-organised practice environment.

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations
• Manage a varied caseload including acute, chronic, and complex presentations
• Undertake routine GP duties including prescriptions, referrals, and follow-ups
• Review pathology results and clinical correspondence
• Support long-term condition management
• Provide appropriate safety-netting and escalation where required
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records

• EMIS Web (preferred experience)

• 5 sessions per week (flexible days considered)
• Standard 15-patient contacts per session (to be confirmed with practice)
• Minimal home visits (if applicable – confirm if required)
• Admin time built into sessions

• ✔ GMC Registration with licence to practise
• ✔ Inclusion on the NHS England Performers List
• ✔ MRCGP (or equivalent)
• ✔ Up-to-date DBS (Enhanced)
• ✔ Indemnity cover
• ✔ Experience working within UK General Practice

• Experience with EMIS Web
• Experience in same-day access / triage models
• Interest in long-term locum consistency
