Philosophy Instructor
The Philosophy Instructor is a full‐time, 9-month salaried position responsible for teaching Intro to Philosophy, Ethics, Logic, and Religion courses. These responsibilities involve developing and implementing course syllabi, achieving student learning outcomes, evaluating student performance, record-keeping, and related activities. Related activities include, but are not limited to, advising, serving on various committees, participating in recruiting and retention efforts, and participating in professional activities and organizations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Divinity or a Master's degree with 18 graduate-level hours in Divinity.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills required
- Experience with online teaching and classroom technology preferred
Reports To: District Director of Social Science Instruction Location: This position will have classes in Oxford and Senatobia.
Contract Term: Nine (9) months
