AID is looking for an Operations Engineering Pavements Technician to work in Keesler AFB, MS. To join our team of outstanding professionals,

Works in Operations Engineering Department under general supervision of a degreed engineer to support asset management and life-cycle optimization of Keesler AFB roads and pavements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage requirements identification and prioritization for roadway and pavement systems
  • Work with Operations to develop and implement a program to analyze the condition of sidewalks, roads and other pavement areas and make recommendations for infrastructure longevity and improvement
  • Conduct infrastructure system assessments and maintain asset databases
  • Conduct root cause analysis of infrastructure failures and provide recommendations for system improvements
  • Analyze customer work requests to validate requirements, estimate workload/material costs and make design recommendations
  • Support post-storm recovery infrastructure assessments
  • Develop/update/manage Asset Management Portfolios (AMP) and sub-AMP(s) for airfield pavements and base-wide road network
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 10 years’ relevant work experience in pavement maintenance
  • Associate's degree in engineering technology or formal training equivalent
  • Certifications appropriate for level of experience
  • Ability to pass a National Agency (NCIC) background check
  • Valid Driver’s License
