Responsible for unit/department based clinical orientation and provision of clinical in-service training for new and current clinical Associates. Responsible for unit or department-based assessment, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs that enhances the performance or professional development of the unit/department's Associates. ** A Brief Overview
** Responsible for unit/department based clinical orientation and provision of clinical in-service training for new and current clinical Associates. Responsible for unit or department-based assessment, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs that enhances the performance or professional development of the unit/department's Associates. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.
** What you will do
*** Coordinates an individualized orientation for all new unit/department Associates.
* Plans and implements standardized learning activities to meet the needs of all levels of clinical Associates.
* Serves as a role model/change agent to promote professional and technical development of Associates.
* Provides consultative services to internal and external customers.
* Integrates relevant research outcomes into learning activities.
* Performs other job duties as assigned or requested.
** Education/Formal Training Requirements*
* * Required - Bachelor's Degree Nursing
* Preferred - Bachelor's Degree Allied Health
* Preferred - Master's Degree Allied Health
* Preferred - Master's Degree Nursing
** Work Experience Requirements*
* * Required - General 3-5 years
* Preferred - Teaching 3-5 years
** Licenses and Certifications Requirements*
* * Required - BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
* Required - Registered Nurse Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Nursing
* Preferred - Registered Respiratory Therapist - Mississippi - Mississippi State Department of Health
* Preferred - Registered Respiratory Therapist - Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care
* Preferred - Registered Respiratory Therapist - Arkansas - Arkansas State Medical Board
** Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities

* * Knowledge and skill in clinical care.
* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups.
