Responsibilities
Mental Health Specialist/Aide at Diamond Grove Center. Eligible to work all shifts, this is a PRN position with hours 7:00 pm–7:00 am, 11:00 pm–7:30 am, and 3:30 pm–11:30 pm.
Diamond Grove Center is an 85‑bed behavioral psychiatric hospital located in Louisville, Miss. The facility offers individual units for children, adolescents, and adults, acute and residential treatment. On average, 1,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health‑care team each year. As a Mental Health Specialist/Aide you will function as a member of the treatment team and accept responsibilities such as patient observation rounds, suicide‑risk observation, and assisting with treatment programs. You will demonstrate expertise in tasks necessary to maintain a therapeutic milieu and optimum patient care, maintain high‑level interpersonal relationships intra‑ and interdepartmentally, display good clinical judgement evidenced by timely verbal and written documentation, perform routine assignments independently, and seek direction when needed.
