OSS Support Engineer

Role Overview

Join Hitachi Energy as an Onsite IT Support Specialist in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, and play a vital role in delivering exceptional IT support within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You'll be the trusted face of IT support, working directly with employees to resolve technical issues, deploy and maintain devices, and ensure users have the tools they need to be successful.

Provide hands‑on support for IT issues requiring on‑site assistance, deliver, configure, and deploy ready‑to‑use computers and devices, guide users with practical training on common IT tools and services, and manage inventory of IT hardware, accessories, and related assets.

Formal IT qualification, technical diploma, degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience

Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support experience

Experience supporting users within a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of Service Now, Microsoft 365, Windows, iOS, and asset management tools

Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independentlyITIL 4 and/or Lean Six Sigma certifications are preferred
