Position Summary
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Tour-to-Teach communication and collaboration with all levels of associates regarding store operations and technology initiatives. Implements company direction, merchandising, and business initiatives and introduces company change efforts. Provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicates business objectives effectively. Models exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs are met and complaints are resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and expense controls, and ensuring merchandise presentation and inventory flow meet sales and profit goals.
- Supervise and develop associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, recognizing performance, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments, building accountability, measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, support company mission values, and utilize the Open Door Policy to apply best practices in business processes.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 – $38.46, with opportunities for regional pay adjustments and state pay differential where applicable.
- 2 years’ of college, OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience, OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition with state‑specific requirements, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.
