Health Care. Full‑time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) at Mid South Pain Treatment Center (MPTC), a Partner Care affiliated company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop safe, balanced, and patient-focused pain management treatment plans.
  • Perform comprehensive and problem-focused patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Work with physicians to diagnose and order appropriate minimally-invasive procedures to address the root cause of patients’ pain, offering alternatives to debilitating surgery or reliance on medications.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic health records documenting patient care and treatment outcomes.
  • Initiate referrals and consultations when patient needs exceed scope of practice or expertise.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and health promotion.
  • Counsel patients on medication regimens, potential side effects, and interactions with supplements and over-the-counter medications.
  • Review patient documentation to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of care provided.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current AANP or NCCPA certification (as applicable).
  • Active and unrestricted Georgia license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Passion for patient‑centered care and collaborative practice.
  • Maintains current and unrestricted state license with a DEA with Schedule II.
  • CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
  • ACLS and BLS certification required.
  • Desire to work as part of a team environment.
