MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Working knowledge of relay logic and ladder logic
- Working knowledge of industrial electricity and electronics
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical prints
- Willingness to complete required training courses (or test out, where applicable):
- Blueprint Reading (Books 1, 2, &
3) - First Aid
- Overhead crane and rigging device safety
- Forklift operation
- HAZMAT and Fire Extinguisher Training
- Measuring device training on the following:
- Tape measure (English and metric)
- Steel rule (English and metric)
- Protractor
- Micrometers (OD, , & groove)
- Calipers (vernier, spring, & digital)
- Blueprint Reading (Books 1, 2, &
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for both preventing and responding to maintenance issues throughout the facility to support improvement, repair, and general upkeep. You will also complete assigned maintenance work orders and provide support to all plant personnel, along with performing other related duties as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, the job responsibilities outlined below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Complete Anel Basic Training (ABT): Participate in training and follow all company policies and safety guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to Anel’s Hazard Assessment Program, including proper use of PPE, equipment inspections, and safe material handling practices.
- Maintenance Execution: Complete work orders based on priority, report labor and materials used, communicate with machine operators, and assist as needed in other maintenance areas.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to machine, equipment, or facility failures; troubleshoot issues; perform Lockout/Tagout procedures; and ensure safe disassembly and labeling of parts.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform all scheduled maintenance activities, complete checklists, change oil and filters according to manufacturer timelines, and document all PM tasks.
- Training & Support: Assist in training team members on PM checks and how to identify early warning signs of potential equipment issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Submit weekly improvement ideas, maintain 5S standards, participate in waste elimination goals, and support visual board updates and cross-training opportunities.
- Level 1: Performs duties with supervision after completing ABT (90 days minimum)
- Level 2: Performs all duties independently (180 days minimum)
